The Imperial Altar
>>61692795 These are seared wounds Qitta. You better get used to limping and pain girl.
H-Huh? No way... Checking if it at least can be fixed costs nothing, you're not giving up just yet.
Priests are not gonna help with that.
You let out a sigh. Yeah, maybe they won't.
>>61696218 There are plenty of people who know how to work cloth, best to keep the clothes and get them repaired.
They're already old and worn on top of now being stained with blood and badly ripped, buying new clothes would probably be cheaper. Hey, what if you got a new shirt and used the stuff you found? Now that's an idea.
Also temple visit might be wise, they help the poor right?
Well... You don't really know if that's how they operate but that's exactly why you're going to check it out.
You walk through the town until you are face to face with a large stone archway that should lead to the temple and the keep. As pass it, however, you notice a distinct lack of temples, temple-like buildings or people that seem to work at a temple. In fact, everyone here seems to be a guard and that in front of you is a big keep with thick stone walls. Did you get the wrong place? Is your information wrong? You keep walking expecting to be stopped at any moment, yet you aren't. You ask one of the guards close to the keep's entrance where the temple is. "Temple? Here in Pelagiad? I'm sorry, are you talking about the Imperial Cult Altar?" Not... really. I mean, I guess so. "Well, if you're looking for it just head right inside. It's at the end of the room to your right." You're a bit confused. You were expecting to talk to priests and healers... well, maybe they're at the altar. Either way, you thank him and head inside.
You are greeted by a big banner bearing the Imperial dragon. You don't actually know if the dragon is Imperial or not, you meant to say the symbol stamped on the banner is Imperial in origin. Alright, you also don't know if that is Imperial in origin what you MEANT TO SAY is the Empire uses it. You'll... you'll just move on from this. The inside of this place is a bit cramped, thanks to the low ceiling, and is entirely made of stone yet the glow of candles and torches makes this strangely cozy. From here you can already see a room with some kind of altar and head towards it, passing by an Orc woman on your way there. The altar itself is sculpted out of stone with some sort of textile draped over the middle. A candelabrum with burning candles sits atop it to the right. You can see some offerings like a big loaf of bread, some blue flowers, an unknown potion of some kind and a small pile of coins. Man, this is not at all what you were expecting. What do you even do here?
